How does it work?
ICON® Laser uses two laser wavelengths which makes it excellent for skin resurfacing to treat many different skin concerns.
Treating both the epidermal and dermal layer of your skin with precise regular patterns, it injuries the damage tissue without causing burning, promoting your bodies natural healing producing collagen and elastin, improving your skin tone and texture, and giving you smoother, firmer and younger looking skin.

Am I a good candidate for ICON® laser skin resurfacing?
ICON® works on all skin tones from very light to dark and helps correct a wide variety of skin concerns and imperfections.
Does it hurt?
Depending on the treatment options, it is a well tolerated treatment with most feeling minimal discomfort but no pain. As everyone’s pain threshold is different, pain management options are available for during and after the treatment.
What does it feel like?
Most feel mild discomfort and mild to moderate swelling can occurs which subsides in the next few hours after treatment or the next day. For more aggressive treatments, peeling occurs for 2 to 3 days which topical creams can be used to reduce the reaction and will be discussed upon your consultation to reach your overall desired result.
How many treatments will I need?
A course of treatments is required to obtain the best results. Upon your consultation, you will receive your own tailored skin treatment plan in detail with the required interval times and home care required to reach optimal results.
Is there any downtime?
ICON® offers 2 options – no downtime and downtime to offer you the best treatment to suit your lifestyle which will be discussed on the day of your consultation.
When will I see results?
Depending on what is being treatment, improvement is seen within 2 to 3 weeks of your first treatment gradually improving over the next few weeks and with more treatment sessions leaving your skin looking smoother, younger and healthier.
